Thank you to everyone who joined Shoulder to Shoulder to “Raise the Roof” on Maternal Child Health. On December 13, 150 supporters gathered at the Eagan Community Center. Together, we raised over $76,000 for the Maternal Child Health Center at Ilula Hospital.
The Center will provide essential care to birthing mothers and infants. Women will be able to give birth in private rooms and have their own beds for rest and care afterwards. Family members will be able to support the mother during birth and prepare meals during recovery. The new Center will provide dignity and comfort for those bringing new life into the world.
